Common Time includes familiar simple and compound meters plus grouped irregular meters.
Available meters
Use a supplied preset or create a valid custom meter with a numerator from 1 through 16 and a denominator of 2, 4, 8, or 16.
Irregular groupings
For irregular meters, choose groups whose values add up to the numerator—for example, 7/8 grouped as 2 + 2 + 3, 3 + 2 + 2, or 2 + 3 + 2. Group starts are reflected in both the notation and the click hierarchy.
